Research Progress on Bioactivity of Sulfate Polysaccharide

Abstract:

Sulfated polysaccharides can be extracted from natural resources or modified from polysaccharides through substitution of the hydroxyl groups of monosaccharide molecules on polysaccharide chains by sulfate. The sulfated polysaccharides have multiple functions，such as anti-tumor，anti-virus，anti-oxidation，anti-coagulation and immunoregulation. In this paper，the recent studies on the biological functions of sulfated polysaccharides were summarized，and the future research was proposed.
