Abstract:

Nattokinase (NK) is well known for its strong thrombolytic property. However, methods for exploring the enzyme are still traditional and its value is thus underestimated. In this review, the structure and the classification for NK were summarized. Based on the applications of NK family proteases, the potential utilizations of NK were predicted.
