Determination of 16 Phthalic Acid Esters in Spirit by Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry

    Abstract:

    To determine the residual amounts of 16 Phthalic Acid in spirit, a liquid-liquid extraction combined with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry was established. The results showed that linearity of response over 16 phthalic acid esters was good from 0.5 to 8.0 mg/L with higher correlation coefficients(>0.997).The limits of detection were from 0.02 to 0.05 mg/L, in addition, the relative standard deviations(RSDs) were in the range of 0.7%~2.8%. Spike recoveries ranged from 82% to 106% for all samples in same analysis condition. The conclusion indicated that this developed method is simple and quick response for the determination of 16 Phthalic Acid Esters in wine.
