    Abstract:

The capacity of scavenging ·OH, ·O2- and H2O2 of aqueous extractions from five organs(root, aerial stem, leaf, flower and seed) of Fagopyrum megaspartanium was studied by means of nitro blue terra-zolium photochemica reduction, Fenton reaction and spectrophotometric assay. The results showed that the aqueous extractions had the capacity of scavenging ·OH, ·O2- and H2O2. The capacity of scavenging ·OH and·O2- were sorted as: root, flower>leaf, seed>aerial stem. The capacity of scavenging H2O2 was sorted as: leaf, flower>root, seed and aerial stem.
