    Abstract:

The optimum conditions of extracting pigment from the solid state fermentation culture of Pycnoporus sanguineus SYBC-L7 were studied, and the physicochemical properties of this pigment were also analyzed. The results showed that the pigment could be optimum produced by solid-state fermentation with wood chips. Using methanol as the extraction solvent, the pigment could be maximally extracted from the solid culture at 35 ℃ after 40 min with water bath. The extraction solvent was yellow with a maximum absorption wavelength of 430 nm. The pigment has a good thermal resistance as well as acid resistance, and it cannot be affected by common oxidizing and reducing agents.
