    Abstract:

In this study, response surface methodology(RSM) was applied to optimize the extraction conditions of total triterpenoids from Schisandra chinensis(Turcz.) Bail by microwave-assisted l.Based on the results of the single factor experiments, alcohol concentration, extraction time, pretreatment agents were studied with a central-composite design. The predictive quadratic equations model was developed by Design Expert software. The optimal conditions of microwave extraction of triterpenoids from Schisandra chinensis(Turcz.) Baill were achieved and listed as follows: alcohol concentration 53.6%,extraction time 1.89min,multipl 4.6.Under the optimum conditions, the yield of total triterpenoids is achieve at 2.137%,this data exhibited a good agreement with the value predicted by the model.
