Synthesis and Application of High Substituted Cationic Starch in Emulsifying AKD

Abstract:

In this manuscript,a high substituted cationic starch was synthesized and then applied on the emulsification.The best performances of emulsification and sizing in papermaking were achieved at conditions:the cationic starch density of positive charge was 0.5~3.5 meqv/g,substitution was more than 0.1,viscosity was less than 1 000 mPa·s.
