Abstract:

Dendrobium nobile Lindl.(Orchidaceae), a rare Chinese herbal medicine, contains rich functional ingredients, such as alkaloids, polyphenols, polysaccharides. It has become a hot spot of research in the field of modern medical treatment, health care food, etc. This review summarizes the research progresses on the extraction, detection, structural identification and functional ingredients.The development status on health care food of D. nobile, which shows that Dendrobium nobile Lindl. has depth development prospects.
